“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.” - Winston Churchill
Our Story
Black Pines Life was founded with a deep understanding of the struggles many young men face in transitioning into adulthood. Whether leaving structured programs like therapeutic boarding schools or simply feeling lost and directionless, young men often need guidance and real-world experience to build confidence and independence.
Our program was created to provide that bridge—offering a structured yet practical approach to life skills, mentorship, and emotional growth. We believe that by combining hands-on learning with adventure and community, young men can step into their future with purpose and resilience.
What Makes Us Different?
Instead of traditional therapy programs or rigid treatment centers, Black Pines is designed for young men who need structure and support—but who don’t require addiction recovery or intensive clinical intervention.
Small, Focused Groups – With only 4–6 participants at a time, we ensure personalized attention and mentorship.
Hands-On Learning – Participants gain practical life skills like cooking, budgeting, job searching, and independent living.
Outdoor Adventure-Based Growth – We leverage Utah’s natural beauty to encourage confidence and resilience through activities like skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.
Community & Support – Living together fosters accountability, responsibility, and social growth in a way that mimics real-world living.
